In June of 2018, Movement Strategy became the agency of record for Netflix's brand-new vertical, Netflix Film. As the creative lead on the account, I developed early content formats and, along with many talented writers, helped to establish the voice of the brand.
We helped to launch @NetflixFilm on Instagram in July of 2018. Along with a creative launch strategy, we helped bring to life numerous successful repeatable formats including layman's narrations, multi-title supercuts, and tribute edits to our favorite characters. We worked across Netflix to produce behind-the-scenes featurettes and talent exclusives for Netflix Original Films. Beautiful filmmaking, the importance of representation and a healthy obsession with Cate Blanchett became the bread-and-butter of our social feeds. Through an almost completely organic strategy, we helped this handle become Netflix's second largest Instagram account, and we've remained a creative partner for over two years.
